Cold Killers Soft Shell Collection
The Knox Cold Killers range of thermal clothing for motorcycle riders has been revamped for 2009, with a new, three-ply, SoftShell fabric used. This tight-knit weave features a stretchy exterior layer, matched to a fleece type inner layer, plus a laminated membrane inbetween.
The result is excellent protection against the damaging effects of mild hypothermia at speed, when riding in cold conditions. Knox claim that the new fabric combination offers the very best weather protection and comfort, with outstanding breathability.
You can buy a complete set of Cold Killers garments, from balaclava to socks, or purchase them separately. There’s also a ladies sport top, which is especially designed to fit the female form.
Prices have been held at 2008 levels, with a neck tube, socks, or under-gloves costing £14.99 and a Sport Top or Wind Buddy retailing at £49.99. Sizes covered include, Small to XXL for men, and 10-20 for the ladies top.
