The 2008 owards BMW R1200GS has been recognised as one of the best all-round touring motorcycles on the market.
But some high mileage riders may demand more lighting, for safety reasons in both heavy traffic and winter weather. These Hella fog lights are available as a kit from Hornig of Germany, complete with GRP ( painted in primer white ) or carbon fibre side pods around the lights.
As well as the side pods, the kit includes all wiring, a handlebar switch, stainless steel mounting brackets and full instructions with pictures in colour, to make fitting by the owner that bit easier. The kit costs 499 euros, or 699 euros for the carbon fibre version.
