Keis bodywarmer 2009
Winter is fast approaching and staying warm whilst you ride your motorcycle is vital. Your body can lose heat on the move resulting in lower concentration levels, slower reaction times in an emergency and impaired use of the machine controls like brakes, clutch and throttle.
One of the best ways of staying alert is to maintain your core body temperature with an electric vest. The Keis X4 bodywarmer now has an optional 4400mAh re-chargable battery pack, double the power of its predecessor, which means more heat on the move.
You can plug the Keis vest into the bike’s electrical system or choose to wear it without a connecting wire. That means the Keis vest can be worn during outdoor activities like hiking or angling in the winter months. There’s a mains charger and the Keis X4 pack has five heat settings, plus an LED `fully charged’ indicator. The pack has 20 hours of use once fully charged.
The Keis heated vest uses polyimide panels, rather than wires to transmit the heat throughout the vest, which gives a more even spread of warmth. It is also lighter than most wired garments and has a fleecy lining inside, plus a Dintex waterproof lining, for everyday comfort. It is machine washable too.
The Keis X4 battery and charger pack cost £79.99, whilst the Keis vest with a simple on-bike connection retails at £89.99. More at; www.motohaus.com
