Knox Warrior back protector
If you’re a fan of off-road biking, whether it’s motocross, enduro, supermoto or trials, you might well consider wearing a back protector to save your spine, chest and shoulders from serious damage. Even the sedate sport of trials riding can involve heavy impacts on rocky sections – lycra won’t save you from a Scottish granite assault, even at 20mph.
Knox are one of the UK’s leading specialists when it comes to CE-marked protective kit and the Warrior harness is something that you can wear comfortably during any off-road sport, or leisure ride.
It was developed by Relentless Suzuki racer Jamie Law and features a three-part shoulder section which allows real freedom of movement in your upper body – crucial when off-roading.
Previously available in black only, there are two new colours for 2010, lime green and white. The Knox Warrior has a breathable spacer fabric, plus pinhole ventilation to disperse body heat, which can soon build up during competition.
The Knox Warrior harness is available in sizes Small or Large and retails at £149.99. The neck brace in the photo is an optional extra.
