Made from 12mm thick hexagon section steel, the chain is a visible deterrent to any thief and the hardened steel shackle lock has also been designed, and tested, to withstand the attentions of the light fingered fraternity.
The chain is 1.8 metres long, or just under six feet for those who still think in Imperial measurments, so it fit around handy signposts or immovable objects, when you’re parking out in the open. Obviously you should only transport a chain like this in a hard luggage top case or pannier, not wrapped around your body like an extra from Mad Max – that would look cool, but be dangerous.
