Peugeot’s Speedfight 3 is one of the best selling scooters in the UK and now the French company have released a handy accessory for anyone who likes music on the move.
The Mega Watt MP3 player allows any owner to play their favourite MP3 tracks on the go. The kit can be installed under the seat on the Speedfight and includes an amplifier, 7 inch 30W speaker and control unit. In addition, there are two sub-woofer speakers which mount in the rear tail section of the scooter. They fit inside the Speedfight’s dummy air intakes - so no modification of the bodywork is required.
The unit is lightweight, being concealed under the seat offers security and protection from the weather - the speakers are waterproof too.
The volume can be controlled from a switch, which is mounted on the handlebars and also included in the Mega Watt kit. When not in use, the sound system can be unplugged, which frees up a re-charging socket for a mobile phone or MP3 unit.
