Pirelli and Ducati unveil new Diablo II range
Pirelli are to continue their 100% supply agreement with Ducati and will be providing the new tyre for their brand new Diavel machine, the Diablo Rosso II, which will be unveiled in the UK at the Carole Nash Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham later this month.
The Diablo Rosso II promises to offer great performance in wet conditions as well as increased stability and corner safety.
Ducati teamed up with Pirelli for a three year 100% supply agreement and the Italian bike model is the latest product of their collaboration. Due to the new superbike-derived engine and 207kg weight, a deeper understanding of the vehicle dynamics was needed in order to produce the new tyre model.
The latest addition to the Rosso family is the most sports-orientated machine to be produced and boasts high performance technology, which was developed by Pirelli during the World Superbike Championship.
The Rosso II will boast the latest technology, including the Bi-Compound tread, which uses the EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology) to further enhance the tread. As well as this the new tyres also utilise ICS (Integrated Contour Shaping) technology to compliment the handling of the bike.
The new tyre raises the bar for the Rosso brand in terms of their performance on the track and is destined for more supersport motorcyclists who will be able to take advantage of the tyres’ capabilities on twisty roads and still have the stability and safety of driving in the city, in all conditions.
You can see the latest Ducati models as well as other brand new sports bikes and products at the Carole Nash Motorcycle Live Show at Birmingham, later this month.
