Scottoiler will be launching a brand new version of their famous on-bike chain lube system to the UK motorcycle market, at the NEC show this November.
The new electronic Scottoiler features a digital display, which shows the rider the temperature and flow rate of the oil, oil level, plus the acceleration of the bike, measured in g forces. The eSystem Scottoiler uses a pump powered directly by the motorcycle battery and the set-up uses about the same trickle charge as heated grips would do.
The pump is more accurate in terms of chain lube metering than a simple vacuum gravity feed and the new eSystem reservoir holds slightly more oil, giving another 6 hours of riding time before needing a re-fill.
There’s a facility to fit twin pipe lubrication to your chain, plus a self-assembly fitting kit and instructions are included. The product should be in the shops next Spring, following a launch to the trade at Trade Expo in January 2009.
