Scottoiler kit for KTMs
Scottoiler have launched a new chain lube kit especially for KTM road-based machines.
The kit, which retails for just under £90, features a unique cradle, designed to neatly fit the frame on all current KTM road models. This mounting kit allows the rider to make any adjustments and refill the oil metering device when required. Scottoilers work by gradually dropping small amounts of oil onto the chain as the motorcycle is moving.
The amount is carefully metered, so that no excessive oil spray occurs. It is easy with an aerosol can to place too much chain lube on a particular part of the chain. This could later fly off, and coat the left side of the rear tyre – potentially causing a crash.
