Skidmarx have produced a couple of new accessories for the Suzuki GSXR1000 K7/K8 series motorcycles, designed to add a touch of style, extra wind-cheating aerodynamics and weather protection for your rear monoshock.
The Skidmarx rear hugger for the GSXR1000 K7/K8 models is made from GRP, weighs in at just 500g and comes with a fitting kit and instructions. It is slightly bigger than the factory-fit item, so it offers a little bit more protection for that vulnerable rear shock and associated linkage in wet weather. It costs £69.95 and there’s a carbon fibre version available, which retails at £119.95 inc VAT.
At the sharp end of the bike you can add a bit of Relentless styling by fitting the same double bubble screen that Skidmarx make for Alistair Seeley’s race machine. The screen is manufactured in 3mm thick acrylic, fits directly onto the original mounting points and comes in three finishes; clear, light or dark tint. You can have a coloured option for an extra £6.
