Skidmarx double bubble for `09 R1
Skidmarx UK have producd a double bubble type screen for the 2009 Yamaha R1 supersport model.
Based on the design used by Leon Camier on his BSB race version of the R1, the screen is made to enhance the aerodynamics of the bike, and increase the available air pocket behind the screen at speed. That basically means less buffetting at higher speeds, which makes for more comfortable riding.
Designed to utilise the existing `factory fit’ mounting points and fasteners, the Skidmarx screen is simple to fit and requires no modifications to the R1. Made from 3mm thick acrylic, the Skidmarx screen retails at £39.95 and is available in three colour choices; clear, light tint or dark tint. You can specify one-off colours for a small extra cost.
Skidmarx will be exhibiting at the Carole Nash sponsored UK Motorcycle Show, from 27th November - 6th December 2009, Hall 1E 80.
