Venhill’s dual action throttle
Originally designed for motocross and speedway bikes, Venhill’s dual action 500A throttle is becoming increasingly popular on the circuits with superbike and supersport racers, like team Seton Interceptor Yamaha.
Offering a choice of fast and medium action settings, riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly and simply by hooking the throttle cable to alternative positions on the throttle rotor. On the fastest setting there is 68° of rotation (taking up 36mm of the cable), while on the regular setting there is 80° of rotation, which delivers a slightly quicker action than most original equipment twist grips - which usually rotate by 90°
Another feature that makes the 500A attractive to racers is that it enables riders to change the throttle cable quickly and without the needing to remove the throttle housing from the bar.
Manufactured with a robust cast alloy body, the 500A throttle comes complete with adjuster and locking ring and retails for £39.20 Including VAT.
