Fitting luggage to classic or retro styled bikes can be tricky. It’s easy to scratch chromework, or spoil the elegant lines of the bike.
The Ventura luggage system for retro machines is the ideal solution, offering a secure and safe way to carry items. The Ventura rack fits onto your machine via two L shaped brackets, then a pack rack section goes at the back. Your Ventura bag then slides onto the pack rack rail.
The luggage cannot move whilst you’re riding and it’s easy to detach when parked. You can carry luggage both riding solo and two-up.
Because the Ventura system places the luggage behind the rider, it produces less wind resistance than side-mounted panniers, meaning better fuel consumption and the narrower profile also means that lane filtering in busy traffic is that bit safer.
The system pictured is for the new Moto Guzzi V7 Classic, and has two chrome L brackets at £112.50, and a pack rack at £59.28. There’s an optional pillion grab rail which costs £19.99 and Ventura luggage bags come in sizes from 35-102 litres capacity.
