Weise has added more motorcycle clothing to its range, just in time for winter 2008/9. The well established brand is a long-time favourite among motorcycle couriers, and they know what works and what doesn’t, so you can expect outstanding performance across the range.
If you’re fed up with dodgy brands made down to price, instead of up to quality, then you’ll be happy to see Weise are still using YKK zippers, KNOX CE approved armour and ISOTEX waterproof and breathable drop liners. You’ll also be happy to note that, despite the built-in quality, prices are set at credit-crunch beating levels.
The newly introduced products include the Hornet Hi-Viz jacket. 600 Denier strong nylon construction with an ISOTEX waterproof and breathable drop liner, and detachable 60 gram thermal quilted lining, mean you should keep warm and dry in this jacket. Its bold yellow panels and KNOX armour should help you to avoid spending time in an Accident and Emergency ward corridor, with the typical long wait for treatment, after a “sorry, I didn’t see you” incident. Sizes range from XS to 4XL and they are retailing for £139.99. There’s also the Compass jacket with similar specifications but with a neoprene collar and cuffs and plenty of adjustment built in to ensure a perfect fit. This one goes for £149.99.
Titan jeans complement the new Weise jackets with 500 Denier strong nylon construction and ISOTEX waterproof, windproof and breathable inner lining. They are available in sizes XS to 4XL and in a choice of regular or short leg fittings at £109.99.
The Weise Fusion Gloves cleverly combine the abrasion resistance of leather on the palm and over the knuckles, with the practicality and flexibility of synthetic fabric on the back. Available in sizes XS – XXXL in red, blue and gun colours they retail for a very reasonable £29.99.
