Yoshimura systems for early GSXRs
Yoshimura are making their final batch of exhaust systems for the cult GSXR 750/1100 models of the 1980s.
The `Gixer’ 750 and 1100 in air-cooled form were ground-breaking sportbikes of the 80s, and very successful on track in production racing, at the TT and as the basis for many drag racing projects. Those who like to extract the very last bhp from their GSXR750/1100 will be keen to snap up one of these final run Yoshimura systems with production ending in December 2009.
The Daytona Special exhaust system from Yoshimura weighs just 4.5kgs, compared to the stock pipework’s 11.5kgs. The downpipes are titanium, with a stainless steel collector box and aluminium alloy silencer.
The high quality of the metals used and Yoshimura’s expertise means that the cost of these systems is £1899.45 inc VAT, but this is your last chance to obtain a brand new Yoshimura system for the classic GSXR750/1100 series.
