Carole Nash Motorcycle Live proves a hit with over 100,000 visitors
Despite being hit by some of the most adverse weather conditions seen in the UK in recent years, the revamped Carole Nash Motorcycle Live show was still a big success – and was attended by almost 100,000 people.
The event won praise from an array of visitors, exhibitors and manufacturers who attended the new look event, which ran from the 27th November through to the 5th December and was held at the NEC in Birmingham, bringing together motorbike enthusiasts and racing fans from all over the UK.
After a year’s break, Honda UK returned to the arena for this year’s show and their manager Steve Martindale was full of praise, saying: “This year’s Event has possibly been the best we’ve seen in a number of years with a really fresh new feel and great buzz around the halls.”
The sales and marketing manager at Kawasaki agreed and added: “The event was awesome – really, really positive for Kawasaki. We had a huge amount of interest in the bikes and the whole team left feeling really pumped.”
It wasn’t just manufacturers and exhibitioners who thought this year’s show was a success though, with visitors being equally impressed by the new look of the show. Pete Newell, who visited the event on their opening day, said: “I went to Carole Nash Motorcycle Live with my daughter and a friend. We were in the doors bang on 10am and full on until 6pm – what a fantastic day out!”
The show featured 38 different manufacturers, with 200 other exhibitors also showcasing goods and services, as well as plenty of interactive features – adding a new dimension for visitors of all ages, especially appealing to the younger audience.
The Managing Director of the NEC venue, who worked closely with organisers MCI exhibitions to make sure the event brought in plenty of fans, added: “The past 11 months have been a real effort from all parties to make it the best yet and we can certainly say that from our point of view Carole Nash Motorcycle Live 2010 was a success.”
