Getting to the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show
The Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show takes place from Thursday 4 – Sunday 7 February 2010 at the ExCeL in the Docklands area of London.
The show promises an action packed weekend of entertainment, with leading manufacturers exhibiting their models for 2010 alongside some outstanding performances in the Live Action Arena.
For those of you haven’t been to the London bike show in recent years, here is our handy travel guide to getting to and from the ExCeL.
By Tube and DLR
The ExCeL is served by two stations on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). Custom House (for ExCeL) is connected to the West Entrance of the centre whilst Prince Regent is connected to the East Entrance. Only DLR services towards Beckton serve the ExCeL. Do not use services to Woolwich Arsenal, Lewisham or Stratford.
Connections from the London Underground network to the DLR are available at:
- Bank Station (Central, Northern and Waterloo & City Lines)
- Canning Town Station (Jubilee Line)
- Tower Hill Station (District and Circle Lines)
- Monument Station (District and Circle Lines)
- Bow Road (Hammersmith & City Line, change DLR services at Poplar)
Transport for London is advising that there is a planned full closure on the Circle Line on February 6 and 7. The Waterloo and City line will also be closed on these dates. Planned engineering works that may affect visitors to the show will also be taking place at the weekend on the District Line between Tower Hill and Upminster and the Hammersmith & City Line between Edgware Road and Barking. Replacement bus services will be running on these routes. For more information, visit www.tfl.gov.uk
