Harley-Davidson back Ace Custom Show
Harley-Davidson UK has given it’s backing to the popular London Ace Cafe Custom Show by sponsoring the prestigious Modified Harley-Davidson class.
The show, which takes place at the Alexandra Palace on February 26th – 27th, features some of the finest examples of custom motorcycles in the UK and with Harley putting up a prize fund of £5,000 worth of official H-D parts and accessories, the competition is sure to be fierce.
The announcement comes after Zodiac International already confirmed their backing ‘FreeStyle’ class at the ‘Ally Pally and Harley’s involvement is an extension of their international backing for The Official World Championship program.
On behalf of Harley-Davidson in the UK Parts, Accessories and General Merchandise Brand Manager Allan Brownridge told AMD that “it is good to see that the UK is to get the kind of custom event that the market has needed; being a part of the World Championship Affiliate event program we here at Harley are pleased to be able to add our name and backing to the event.
“Shows like this can only be good for the mission that everybody shares of spreading the custom message to the widest possible audience. As the premier supplier of customisation products for our own motorcycles we see this as a valuable opportunity to encourage and promote the values of personalisation and creativity that are at the heart of everything that we do, and of custom motorcycling itself.”
The entry-form for the Ace Cafe London Custom Show went live in December, with additional classes including Metric/Streetfighter styling, ‘Brit Bikes’, and custom scooters. Application forms and more information can be found at www.acecustomshow.com
Internationally renowned custom bike builder Russ Mitchell is confirmed as the Custom Bike Show Grand Marshall, with judging oversight and show staging being undertaken by World Championship staff.
