MCI donate stand at Motorcycle Live to auto industry charity
MCI Exhibitions has donated a stand at this year’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live to automotive charity BEN, the occupational benevolent fund for people working in the automotive industry
Founded in 1905, BEN is the only occupational charity for those who work or have worked in the automotive and related industries.The Charity provides practical help, support, advice and friendship to more than 15,000 men and women and their families every year. In addition BEN provides a home to over 350 individuals who reside in one of its four residential centres in the UK and offers day care facilities at its centre in Coventry.
You can find BEN at this year’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live on Stand B006, Hall 2, which has been donated to the charity by the show organiser, MCI Exhibitions. The Event runs from 27th November to 5th December at the NEC Birmingham.
Kelly Neal, BEN’s Events Manager said: “This is an incredibly generous gesture on behalf of MCI Exhibitions, with whom we enjoy a very close working relationship. We will be taking the opportunity to raise awareness of BEN and the care and advice we provide and to encourage visitors to support BEN. Visitors can also buy National Draw tickets for just £2 from our stand giving them the chance to win a stunning Kawasaki ER-6N.”
Steve Kenward, CEO of the Motorcycle Industry Association, said: “BEN’s presence at the Event will send a powerful message to all in the motorcycle industry that BEN is their charity and is there to help them if needed.
