1. MCN London Motorcycle Show
Dates: 31st Jan - 3rd Feb
Where: Excel Exhibition Centre, Docklands, London
What’s On: The latest new bikes, riding kit, accessories, spares and more. Plus, fantastic stunt action in the CN Live Action Arena, a chance to meet the MCN Babes 2008, top road race personalities and the MCN Surgery.

2. Scottish Motorcycle Show
Dates: 8th - 9th March
Where: Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston, Near Edinburgh.
What’s On: See the very best machines of days gone by at the Carole Nash Classic Pavilion, watch intense stunt show action, demo ride many of the latest road and off-road style machines, plus the latest brand new roadsters, cruisers, sportbikes from the main importers and manufacturers.

3. MCN Live Skegness Weekend
Dates: 18th-21st April
Where: Butlins Skegness, Lincs.
What’s On: Sponsored by Carole Nash Insurance, the MCN weekend bashes at Skegness are legendary for their fancy dress antics, top live bands, ride-outs, trade stand areas, Wall of Death, freebies, plus all the Butlins holiday facilities on site.

4. The International Classic Motorcycle Show
Dates: 26th-27th April
Where: The Stafford County Showground, Near Stafford.
What’s On: The very best in classic motorcycles, club stands, used bargains, rare books, memorabilia and workshop manuals, spare parts, unmissable Bonhams auction on the Sunday. The Stafford classic event is a feast of chrome, steel and leather from the glory days of biking.

5. The BMF Show
Dates: 17th - 18th May
Where: The East of England Showground, Near Peterborough, Cambs
What’s On: Over 600 stands selling every biking accessory, item of clothing, spare part, DVD that you think of, plus a range of attractions happening in the main arena, including the moped endurance race, stunt display, biking celebrity interviews and more.

6. Motorcycle World at Beaulieu
Dates: 5th - 6th July
Where: The Beaulieu Estate, New Forest, Hampshire
What’s On: New bikes from the manufacturers, demo rides on many machines, custom displays, classic concours competition, off-road demo rides, grass track showcase arena, and not forgetting the huge range of accessories, clothing, helmets and spares for sale in the trade stand areas.

7. Intermot, Cologne, Germany
Dates: 8th - 12th October
Where: The Cologne Messe, Germany
What’s On: The first chance to see many of the 2009 motorcycles ‘in the metal’ for many bikers, plus new helmets, clothing, gloves, hard parts and accessories and the new Cologne Custom Cup competition for custom bike builders - with the showgoers voting for the winning ‘Best in Show’ machine. Intermot has some 900 stands covering the world of two wheels and is the place where the global motorcycle industry meets every two years.

8. Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show
Dates: 18th - 19th October
Where: The Stafford County Showground
What’s On: The best Japanese classics from the 60’s to the 90’s are the main reason for some 20,000 bikers returning each year. See the very best restored machines, the vintage riding kit, the mags and manuals from days gone by, plus meet motorcycle stars from the past, club stands, check out retro style modern machines and more.

9. Eicma, Milan, Italy
Dates: 4th - 9th November
Where: The new Fiero Expo, Milan, Italy
What’s On: The motorcycle industry has its European centre in Italy, with legendary names like MV Agusta, Ducati and Moto Guzzi all keen to make a big impression at their ‘home’ event. New machine launches, glamour girls, cool riding kit and you get to see the Duomo. Milan has the whole package.

10. The UK International Motorcycle and Scooter Show
Dates: 27th Nov -7th Dec
Where: The NEC Exhibition Complex, Solihull, Nr Birmingham.
What’s On: If you couldn’t make it to Milan or Germany, then this will be your first chance to sit on the 2009 motorcycles, see the latest kit and accessories, meet biking celebs, see the awesome Carole Nash Custom Xtreme machines, the Classic Village, demo ride current models, watch Supermoto demos and much more.
