First Look: 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
Kawasaki has unveiled the first official image of the new 2011Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, revealing a sleek, angular sport-focused bike - and the MSS Colchester Kawasaki squad can’t wait to get to try it out.
The Kawasaki Ninja is one of the company’s biggest hits, both with professional riders and motorcycle enthusiasts alike. Although it’s done well as a competitive sports bike in competitions including the Isle of Man, it struggled with the World Superbike competition.
It looks like Kawasaki have made major changes to reverse this trend and the new picture reveals an angular and sleek design which looks like a sportbike should do, so hopefully the specifications will live up to expectations.
No official details have been released yet other than there will be a new frame, engine, suspension and of course the new design. The new Kawasaki superbike is being put through its paces at the Suzuka track in Japan before its debut on the WSB track in 2011.
MSS Colchester Kawasaki team owner, Nick Morgan, said: “What a fantastic looking, race focused machine. It’s no secret that Kawasaki want to be back on top of racing in World Superbike and the major domestic championships such as BSB and I think this could be the machine to make that happen. Our engineers are excited to get hold of one and our riders to jump upon one.”
