Johnson and Jentin return to BSB
David Johnson will be back in action in the British Superbike Championship at Silverstone next weekend, following a substantial absence from the series.
The Australian will be joining the Jentin Racing Yamaha outfit for the final two rounds of the season, with Silverstone followed by Oulton Park two weeks later. The Yamaha specialist was replaced at his former Team Maxxis Adept Yamaha following at accident at Brands Hatch, however will be entering Jentin Racing with a view to securing them a strong finish next weekend.
Commenting on the move, Team Manager Bernie Toleman told the BSB website: “We are delighted to be rejoining the championship at Silverstone and even more pleased that Dave Johnson has agreed to join us. We have, for one reason or another, had quite a difficult season but are as committed as ever and intend to finish the season as we started it, firmly back in the points.”
