MCN bikers cite price, extras and reputation as most vital insurance factors

Bikers polled at MCN Live in Skegness said that price, reputation and service are the three most important factors they consider when buying motorcycle insurance. The same survey revealed Carole Nash to be the most popular bike insurance firm, being chosen by 75% more bikers than its nearest rival.

Commenting on the poll, which was conducted independently by MCN, Carole Nash’s Head of Marketing , Rebecca Donohue said: “This is yet further independent verification that Carole Nash is the number one choice of UK bikers, whatever others might try and claim. This is hardly surprising given that bikers cited price, extras and service as driving their purchasing decision and that it is precisely the combination that we aim to deliver.”

Carole Nash has long claimed UK market leadership of the motorcycle insurance sector as around 230,000 bikers and over 300,000 bikes are protected through the company. That claim has been consistently supported by independent surveys. RiDE magazine’s annual RiDER Power report has for five of the past six years found Carole Nash to be bikers’ Most Used Broker. Its 2007 report gave Carole Nash a 22 per cent market share which is close to Carole Nash’s own estimate that it has around one in four of all UK bikers on its books.
