Stratford motorcycle dealer beats 3,000 rivals to take trade award
A Stratford motorcycle dealer has beaten thousands of rivals
from across the UK to win a new trade award worth over £2,000.
Knotts Motorcycles, of Western Road, was named Carole Nash
Dealer of the Year 2005 at the bike industry’s showpiece
Motorcycle Trade Expo at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry. The family
owned and managed business is the first winner of the new
national award scheme which is organised by the UK’s
biggest motorcycle insurance specialist, Carole Nash. Over
3000 dealers entered the awards with Knotts taking the title
after providing the highest number of successful business
referrals to Carole Nash during 2005.
Knotts, which with 20 staff is the area’s biggest motorcycle
retailer, had already won four Dealer of the Month awards
prior to grabbing the national title, taking the company’s
total prize money to £2,800 which it can spend on Carole
Nash trade insurance.
“We’re delighted to have won this annual award
not least because it reflects the strength of our business,”
commented General Manager, Pete Jennings. “After all
we can’t provide referrals if we are not maintaining
a strong bike sales performance in the first place.”
Barry Dickson, Carole Nash’s Dealer Manager agreed,
“only by performing well in the marketplace can a company
perform well in our awards. Knotts have done a tremendous
job over the past year to beat off stiff competition from
dealers located right across the UK and lift the national
title.”
