| Carole Nash launches 'One Stop' Insurance policy
Carole Nash, one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers,
has launched an innovative, hassle-saving policy which will
allow its customers to insure combinations of motorcycles,
modern cars, classic cars and their home on one policy.
By offering a policy which covers most people’s key
insurance needs, the new OMNI policy could also cut overall
premium costs whilst offering the convenience of a single
renewal date and point of contact for amendments and claims.
"Lower administration costs and increased purchasing
power will mean greater convenience and value for money,”
explained Carole Nash’s Head of Product Development,
Dave Jessop, who devised the OMNI policy. “It’s
a simple idea which will mean our customers will enjoy the
convenience of having only one place to call to arrange, amend
or claim against insurance which covers all their key needs.”
Carole Nash - which is one of the UK’s fastest-growing
insurance intermediaries with nearly 240,000 policyholders,
and claims market-leadership in the motorcycle market - says
switching existing policies to OMNI will be simple with premiums
payable in a lump sum or through regular instalments.
OMNI enables any combination of motorcycle, classic car,
private car or home cover to be covered, meaning customers
can choose to insure just a bike and a car, a modern and a
classic car or, ultimately, a bike, car, classic car and their
home and possessions. As with all Carole Nash’s motorcycle
and car policies, OMNI also offers breakdown insurance including
home start services and up to £50,000 motor legal protection
cover.
Editor’s Notes: Founded in 1985, Carole Nash now
has an annual income of over £70m and employs nearly
400 staff at its Altrincham base and Dublin offices. It
is the UK’s 36th biggest insurance broker (source:
Insurance Times). As well as claiming market-leadership
in the motorcycle sector and being one of the biggest players
in classic car market, the company was also voted by its
industry peers as Personal Lines Broker of the Year and
took the Training Award at the British Insurance Awards
2003. Its claims team was also honoured at the Insurance
Age Awards 2004 with the Claims Initiative of the Year
trophy.
