| Bikers rate Carole Nash as Uk's top insurance firm
A survey of over 7,500 motorcyclists by bikers' bible RiDE
magazine has seen Carole Nash Insurance named as the UK’s
biggest and best motorcycle insurer. As well as being named
as Most Used Broker in the annual RiDER POWER survey, the
firm also achieved the highest satisfaction rating of the
35 firms surveyed.
Reporting the results RiDE commented: “When Carole
Nash started (it was just Carole with a redundancy cheque)
she was the biker’s friend. It’s great to see
even though her company is the most used broker in RiDER
POWER, she’s still providing top service.”
This is the third year running that Carole Nash has topped
the RiDER Power poll with its latest success following its
naming as Personal Lines Broker of the Year at the 2003 British
Insurance Awards where it also won the prestigious Training
Award.
Carole Nash, which has nearly 300,000 bikes on its books – around
30% of the market – is continuing to enjoy rapid
growth. In recent years it has diversified into motorcycle
security, service and repair and is now a major player
in the classic car market. Despite being a niche player
it was named earlier this year as one of the UK’s
top 40 brokers and now plans to use its considerable strength
to tackle the mainstream car insurance market.
EDITOR’S NOTES: Carole Nash is an
insurance intermediary providing specialist motorcycle policies
as well as classic and mainstream car insurance. It also provides
specialist motorcycle security supply and fitting services
through its CN Secure division and uninsured loss recovery
services via The Claims Service. This year Insurance Times
named the firm as the UK’s 39th biggest insurance broker.
