Am I able to use my car no claims bonus

No. Only motorcycle no claims bonus can be used
as a discount.
I am a named rider on a motorbike insurance
policy. Am I entitled to No Claims Bonus?
No. However, we may be able to give you a discount on some policies
subject to having experience on a similar bike. This would need
to be referred to the Insurers on all cases.

What is a 'single
trip' policy?
A single trip policy is for holidays and business trips for managerial,
clerical and other non-manual work.
What is an 'annual
multi-trip' policy?
An annual multi-trip policy is for anyone who goes on more than
one holiday/business trip per year. Maximum trip duration is 31
days (unlimited number of trips allowed per year).
Who is insured under 'couples'
policies?
This will insure two adults, under 75, residing at the same address
for at least 6 months, who are married or living together as married.
Who is insured under 'family'
policies?
This insures up to two adults, under 75, residing at the same
address for at least 6 months, who are married or living together
as married. It also covers their dependent children or children
for whom they are legal guardian, aged under 18, who are in continuous
full-time education and live at the family home.

How much should I insure my home for?
Contents:
This should represent the full cost of replacing your contents
as new, after taking account of wear and tear for clothing, household
linen and pedal cycles.
Buildings:
You need to take into consideration the full cost of rebuilding
your home including expenses and fees e.g. demolition costs, Architect
fees, and Surveyor fees. N.B if there is a mortgage on the property,
you should always confirm with your mortgage lender that the property
is insured for the correct amount.
What is accidental damage cover?
This covers damage resulting from incidents or events that are
of an accidental nature.
Do I have any cover away from home?
Under the personal belongings cover, you can protect your personal
possessions away from home. This covers items that you take outside
of your home on a daily basis, such as luggage and clothing. Credit
cards, money, sports equipment, pedal cycles and valuables can
also be covered subject to terms and conditions.
What is a valuable?

Will my policy be affected if I go away
on holiday?
No. You're covered while you are away providing you don't leave
your home unoccupied for more than the specified number of days
stated in your insurance documents. If you're planning to be away
for longer than the number of days specified, simply contact us
and we will refer the extended time to the Insurance Company.
How are lost or damaged items replaced?
The insurer will either pay the cost to repair an item or replace
an item on a new for old basis (except for clothing, household
linen or pedal cycles where a wear and tear deduction may be made).
What is 'new for old'?
Where insurers agree to replace items that are lost or damaged
beyond repair at today’s purchase price. Please note, this does
not apply to all your contents, as items such as household linen
and clothing will be subject to deductions for wear and tear.

What is Third Party Only cover (TPO)?

What is Third Party Fire & Theft cover
(TPFT)?
Third Party Fire & Theft (TPFT) covers you for claims made
by other people, against you, for death/bodily injury or damage
to their property and if your bike is stolen or damaged by fire.

What is Comprehensive cover (COMP)?
Comprehensive (COMP) covers you for claims made by other people,
against you, for death/bodily injury or damage to their property.
This also covers your bike if it is stolen or damaged by fire,
accidental or malicious damage. Terms and conditions apply.
What is a compulsory excess?
This is a mandatory amount deducted from any claim settlement
and represents your contribution to the claim cost. If you have
an excess of £50 and your claim is for £300, then you will receive
£250 from your Insurer. If the accident was not your fault, you
may be able to recover your excess from the person to blame (third
party) or their Insurers.
What is a voluntary excess?
Insurers may be prepared to offer a reduced premium if you choose
to bear a voluntary excess. You must carefully consider whether
the discount is reasonable compensation, as if a claim is made
under the section to which the voluntary excess relates, you will
need to pay this in addition to any other compulsory excess applicable.
What is no claim discount?
You may be enititled to a reduction on your insurance if you haven't
made a claim for a year or more. Some insurers offer up to 70%
discount with five years no claim discount.
What is protected no claim discount?
Cover against loss of your no claim discount in the event of you
making a claim.

What is legal expenses cover?
This provides legal advice via a 24-hour, 365 days a year helpline

Why do I sometimes get logged out automatically?
If you have logged in and don't use the site for while, you will
be automatically logged out - this is for your security, and is
commonly referred to as a 'session time-out'. Similarly, if you
start a quote and you don't do anything for a while, your quote
will reset and you will have to begin entering your details again.
What happens if my PC shuts down whilst
I am online?
If you are in the middle of a quotation and your PC shuts down,
you will unfortunately have to start again as the data will have
been lost. If you were logged in to mycarolenash.com you will
automatically be safely logged out. If you are in the middle of
requesting a service, but have not submitted it you will have
to re-submit, as no data will have been processed.
However, if you have submitted data and received confirmation,
then you will not need to take any further action as the request
will have successfully submitted.
Can I have more than one login running
concurrently?
Yes, for different email addresses, but any policy you have with
us can only be managed by one account. Therefore, we strongly
recommend setting up all your policies using this same email address,
username and password. Your username and password can be changed
at anytime to help manage your account.
Why is the service sometimes slower than
usual?
Quotes are instantly available 24/7. You can also submit customer
service requests eg: duplicate documents and foreign use entitlement
24/7, but your confirmation email that this has been carried out
can only be returned during 'business hours'. Requests made out
of hours may not be processed until the start of the next working
day. Our opening hours are:
