Carole Nash are looking for Customer Service and Sales Agents to join their expanding insurance team based in Altrincham. Our team is responsible for giving the best possible service to every person they speak to over the phone.

We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in our customers and can offer and understand the full range of Carole Nash insurance policies, tailored to our customer’s needs.

The Role

  • Provide our customers with an exceptional level of service
  • Understand our customers and their passion for biking and other products
  • Meet and exceed customer’s expectations
  • Effectively negotiate with customers
  • Ensure all documentation is issued correctly and meets our compliance levels
  • Assisting the wider team maximising the opportunity for Carole Nash and our customers

Recruitment Officer

£17k - £23k

We are looking to recruit a Recruitment Officer to work in our busy Staff Development department.

 

The role will involve:

  • Meeting the induction targets for the volume call centre recruitment throughout the year
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with and working closely with external providers to ensure quality candidates are attracted and induction targets fulfilled
  • Organising recruitment events including selection events, open days and one off interviews
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding recruitment activity and resource for recruitment events
  • Finding new routes to the recruitment market to attract quality candidates with an increasing focus on social media and online attraction
  • Working within the recruitment budget and finding cost efficient ways to recruit across the business
  • Working within the payroll budget and making appropriate offers of employment to successful candidates
  • Working with HR regarding contracts for new starters and the administration of this process
  • Completing all the recruitment administration and ensuring all recruitment processes and procedures are adhered to across the business
  • Carrying out employment checks in conjunction with HR on new colleagues
  • Producing reports and statistics on recruitment activity and attrition in order to improve attraction and selection processes moving forward
  • Constantly review recruitment processes, procedures and tools to ensure they are fit for purpose

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good working knowledge of recruitment best practice
  • Have experience of managing recruitment selection events/interviewing/selection processes
  • Have experience of candidate attraction across media, online, social media and government schemes
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Have good organisational and time management skills
  • Be proactive and be able to work autonomously
  • Have a good working knowledge of Excel
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to use own initiative

HR Officer

£18k - £24k salary
We are currently seeking a highly motivated person who has a passion for Human Resources and would welcome the opportunity of working in a varied role in a fast paced organisation within a professional Human Resources team. 

The role will involve:

  • Providing support and guidance to managers to ensure they understand and effectively implement policies, procedures and best practice
  • Making recommendations and implementing changes to policies and procedure to ensure best practice in line with employment legislation
  • Conducting disciplinaries and grievances
  • Managing long term sickness absence including home visits
  • Actively managing absence and attrition levels
  • Ensuring timely action of HR procedures and service level agreements
  • Checking changes to terms and conditions of employment made by the HR Administrator
  • Producing adhoc reports to Managers at all levels as requested
  • Supporting HR strategic initiatives
  • Contributing to the monthly HR statistics and analysis
  • Ensuring customers are treated fairly by supporting managers throughout the business to effectively manage their staff
  • Recommending improvements on practices within the HR Department to maintain excellent delivery standards
  • Checking payroll data

The successful candidate must:

  • Have excellent written and communication skills
  • Have exceptional organisational and administrative skills
  • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative in a busy working environment and as part of a team
  • Have attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be confident and self motivated
  • Have the ability to act in a discretionary and confidential manner
  • Be able to work under pressure and in a timely manner
  • Have the ability to negotiate and influence at manager level
  • Be able to identify problems and present solutions
  • Have the ability to give and receive feedback
  • Have experience of working in HR for a minimum of 2 years

In addition the successful candidate will desirably have:

  • CIPD (or working towards)
