Things you’ll need

What happened

Firstly, it’s a good idea to get the details clear of what happened. It might be simpler to write this down so that making your claim runs more smoothly, as the clearer you are, the easier the process will be.

Third-party details

If you swapped information with any others that were involved at the time of the accident, have this information to hand, as well as any other details you have regarding what happened. If you’re reporting a theft, make sure you have all the information surrounding the circumstances to hand, such as where your vehicle was and when you discovered it stolen.

If the police were involved, you’ll also need to provide the details of this, as well as any information you have regarding witnesses to the accident.

Your details

This will include your driver’s licence information, as well as information on your motorbike insurance policy with us.

The Claims Team

When you call to make your claim, our team will be the first people you speak with – they’ll be responsible for helping you through things from start to finish. As part of our talking claims service, your claim will be printed and posted to you, so you can check the details are correct before signing and returning it. The details will also be sent to your insurer, helping to speed the process along.

You could even be entitled to a hire vehicle at no cost, too. This is providing the accident wasn’t your fault – the claims team will be able to assist with this.
