Helping you to keep your motorcycle safe and secure is one of our top priorities, which is why we give away DNA+ – a sophisticated forensic protection system that helps the police identify any stolen bikes or parts – to anyone who takes out an insurance policy through us. And yet still, it feels as though we should be doing more. That’s why we got together last Friday at one of our favourite biker spots to spread the word about this innovative technology.
Held at Ace Cafe in London, we hosted a series of live demonstrations, video tutorials and talks in a bid to help Ace’s loyal patrons understand the benefits of DNA+ in a little more detail. There were also a few goody bags going around (not to mention complimentary bacon sandwiches), and we had a great time meeting, greeting and chatting to a whole host of bikers about the thing we all love the most – bikes!
Throughout the night, guests mingled with the Carole Nash team, while a representative from the Metropolitan Police Service, Sergeant Mark D Lucas, offered his thoughts on issues such as bike security. We even hosted a Q&A to allow bikers to ask any pressing questions they had about DNA+ and other security measures, just to make sure we covered all bases.
