Alpinestars, the world famous motorcycle clothing manufacturer, has launched its 2018 collection, with the introduction of its MotoGP developed Tech-Air airbag system across a wider range of riding gear.
The Italian company, whose suits are worn by world champion Marc Marquez in the premier racing class, has expanded the airbag range to include commuter jackets, touring textiles and even its retro ‘Oscar’ range, in addition to updated versions of its top end one piece racing leathers.
The company says that there has been a big focus on protection with its new ‘International Technical Motorcycling Collection’ and they claim that the new all-weather, adventure touring and winter riding equipment features improved construction and insulation methods and is the most technically advanced all-weather wear on the market.
The collection also sees the launch of new gloves, which incorporate pioneering construction methods and material technologies for improved protection. New footwear includes premium touring boots, the Patron Gore-Tex boot, the Radon and Campeche Drystar boots and the OSCAR by Alpinestars military heritage Firm Drystar Boot.
Alpinestars haven’t yet said when the new range will be in dealerships, nor have they given an indication of prices. They have sent us some delectable pics to get us salivating though, so best start saving up as it’s a fair bet it won’t be in the bargain section of your local stockist.
