Bikers from across the United Kingdom are encouraged to take part in charity group Adventure Ashram’s UK Car and Bike Rally, which will take place from 17 to 18 May. All of the money raised will go towards supporting health projects in India, Motorcycle News reported.
The UK Rally is all about bringing Adventure Ashram’s supporters together while also welcoming new participants, says project manager Fritha Vincent. The campaign is an adventurer’s charity, which aims to improve education and health in places that are explored by the group, she said. Everything the charity raises will go towards Action for Rural and Social Health, Odanadi, Grace Charitable Trust and Spiti Projects Charity.
The UK Rally will start from Newlands Corner, a spot on top of the Surrey Hills, and from there it will follow the roads to the Watercress Railway through the New Forest and will end up at the Beaulieu Classic Car Jumble and Car Museum.
In the afternoon, the riders will regroup at the Master Builders hotel, which is set at the end of Buckler’s Hard village and boasts stunning views of the Beaulieu River.
To enter the ride, participants need to pay £25 per person. The price includes a rally guide, a limited edition commemorative lapel badge, a plate to fix to the bike or car and entrance to the Beaulieu Classic Car Jumble and Car Museum. All items have been paid and produced by supporters of the Adventure Ashram charity.
