British Harley-Davidson dealer and customiser Shaw took the wraps off its remarkable, custom-made B-Rocket motorcycle at the Jewellery and Watch show in Switzerland that was held recently.
The Harley B-Rocket was ordered by watch company Bell & Ross, becoming the second motorcycle that the firm has commissioned so far. Back in 2011 Shaw teamed up with the watch firm to create the Bell & Ross-inspired Nascafe Racer, whose design was influenced by Bell & Ross’ vision on accuracy, performance and engineering.
Shaw Harley-Davidson said that many people wanted to catch a glimpse of the new bike, but the design was a complete secret. Nobody was expecting what the dealer revealed and the brand is extremely proud of its creation, commented Steve Willis, dealer principal at Shaw Harley-Davidson.
The brand sought inspiration for the B-Rocket design from the speed-bikes and US experimental aviation of the 1960s to reflect the long-standing relationship and passion of Bell & Ross for aviation equipment, Willis added.
The BR 01 B-Rocket watch, meanwhile, is the ultimate watch for bikers, Shaw stated. Similarly to the high-speed bike it is designed to accompany, the watch comes with some impressive features. Its case is 46 mm in diameter and has a large minutes counter along with a tachymetric scale on the outer edge of the dial, which measures short periods of time that can be instantly displayed.
Shaw Harley-Davidson is also the brand behind the World Champion Strike True II Harley-Davidson bike.
