At Carole Nash, we love being around people who are as passionate about bikes as we are, and that was definitely the case with our #CNBikeDay held at the Ron Haslam Race School. We teamed up with Ron, who offered his Elite Experience track day to several participants. Some of the people who were involved include GBBO 2016 Semi-Finalist Selasi Gbormittah, motorbike journalist Joanna F Benz and vlogger Pinky Doodly.
Each participant was given the necessary gear and the day began with a briefing, designed to get everyone ready for riding a bike on the Donington Park Grand Prix circuit. Then, everyone was paired with an instructor to oversee their progress throughout the day.
Each instructor went over what to expect on the track. They mapped out the circuit, spoke about the best gear to use at each section and how to get the best riding position. Despite it being wet and rainy, it didn’t stop the participants from getting on their bikes and making the most of the experience.
The experience lasted four hours, with the riders going around the circuit to increase their biking skills. At the end there was a debrief, where everyone was marked on their improvement from the start of the day. Then, the participants were given a certificate as proof they’d completed the course.
We’d like to give a big thank you to everyone who took part in #CNBikeDay. From Selasi bringing cakes, to the instructors sharing their knowledge, it was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
The Ron Haslam School is the ideal place for bikers who’re looking to brush up on their skills, or riders who’re just starting out. The instructors are superb at what they do and you’ll have peace of mind knowing you’ll be looked after.
