Celebrity Motorbike Collector: Brad Pitt

When you’re riding a motorbike, it becomes more than a vehicle. It’s an expression of freedom, a declaration of your lifestyle. Some people love bikes so much they start a collection, or in the case of Brad Pitt, own an entire fleet. The actor has collected many motorbikes over the years, including a Triumph Bonneville, Ducati Desmosedici RR and Royal Enfield Bullet 500. Here are some of the best-looking bikes in his collection.

BMW R1150GS Adventure

Pitt owns a BMW R1150GS Adventure, a bike that was manufactured by BMW Motorrad up to 2005. It’s a powerful machine, featuring a 1130cc horizontally-opposed flat-twin engine. It can achieve a top speed of 200 kmph, making it an ideal bike for racing around the track. Even with all of the R150GS’s power, it doesn’t stop Pitt from jumping into the saddle and getting the most out of what this high-performance vehicle has to offer.

Triumph Bonneville

The Triumph Bonneville is a classic bike that never goes out of style. The original possessed a 650cc parallel-twin engine that was based on the Triumph Tiger 110. Later Bonnevilles used a new frame that contained the engine oil instead of using a separate tank.

Royal Enfield Bullet 500

Pitt’s Royal Enfield Bullet is a masterpiece of a motorbike. The bike has been produced for the past 75 years, evolving from a four-valve engine to an all-alloy unit construction engine with electronic fuel-injection. Pitt owns a classic Bullet that features a reliable engine and a beautiful frame.

Ducati Desmosedici RR

The Ducati Desmosedici RR was unveiled at the 2006 Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. It was claimed to be the first true road replica of a MotoGP racing bike. This makes it a stand out model in Pitt’s collection. The RR features a 989cc engine, titanium valves, trellis hybrid frame and carbon fibre body, giving it an exotic look.

Yamaha R1

Pitt has a sporty side to his personality, represented by his Yamaha R1. The bike has a 998cc, 16V liquid cooled 4-cylinder engine that makes it an ideal vehicle to ride on the open road. With a jet black paint job, the Yamaha is a beautiful bike that will continue to be in style for years to come.
