Getting a puncture can be extremely irritating for any rider. But unfortunately, punctures happen even to the most careful riders. Similarly, wheel damage can occur over time or if you’ve had to brake suddenly to avoid a collision.
Unfortunately, tyre punctures and wheel damage aren’t things that are usually included in motorbike insurance policies. So it’s important to always read your provider’s policy documents so you understand what is and isn’t covered by your insurance.
When you get motorcycle insurance through Carole Nash we don’t cover damage to tyres by braking, punctures, cuts or bursts. However, we do offer UK and European breakdown cover as with all of our policies, including including Homestart assistance worth over £100. And there are lots of other optional extras you can get added to your policy for increased protection and convenience.
Getting motorbike insurance through Carole Nash means you have the option to add the following extras:
When you take out our personal accident insurance, you have peace of mind that if the worst happens, you’re covered under a policy that is tailored for motorcycle riders. (cover limits apply)
This means if you’re required to pay an excess following the successful settlement of any physical damage claim for your vehicle, you can make a claim and we will reimburse you up to £500.
The helmet and leathers insurance cover policy can guard against damage in the event of a bike accident. It covers up to £1000 with a £50 excess.
All keys, including home, work, car and bike, attached to the Carole Nash fob are covered if they are lost or stolen. This includes £1,500 worth of cover for locksmiths, new locks and keys, car hire, or onward travel costs.
Protection Plus combines Helmet & Leathers and Personal Accident cover into one handy policy.
