Ducati Reveals Latest Diavel Bike

Italian motorbike manufacturer Ducati has revealed the latest model of its Diavel motorcycle ahead of the 2014 International Motor Show in Geneva, which will run until the 16th of March, P&H Motorcycles has reported.

The bike has been given a new exhaust system, an LED headlight and a remodelled 11 degree dual spark engine. According to Ducati, the latest improvements offer a rider-friendly, smooth and safer experience due to the bike’s latest technology.

Even though the motorcycle is yet to be tested, it has been described as a “muscle cruiser,” appealing because of its bold style, the huge 240-section rear tyre, slipper clutch, fantastic Brambos and outstandingly good handling manners, according to Cycleworld.com. If motorbike enthusiasts want to try the bike, they don’t have to wait very long, as the new model is expected to hit Ducati stores in early April.

Back in November last year, Ducati introduced its Monster 1200, 899 Panigale and the 1199 Superleggera bikes at the Milan international motorcycle show.

The Monster 1200 has been developed to be used with ease and with an emphasis on versatility rather than on speed, says the Telegraph’s Roland Brown. With the Monster 1200, bikers will get an eight-valve engine with 135bhp or 145bhp output, which is slightly lower than the Diavel with 162bhp. The Telegraph awarded the Monster 1200 four out of five stars and commented that it blends traditional Monster and V-twin character with improved performance and comfort.
