Italian accessory manufacturer GIVI is introducing an innovative new screen that it claims will help motorcycle and scooter riders be seen better by oncoming traffic at night.

The company, famous for its range of luggage and windscreens, has developed the new ‘ICE’ screen, which lights up in an electric blue colour when hit by oncoming headlights to increase the visibility of the bike and, in turn, contribute to rider safety.

Versions of the screen are initially available for four motorcycles, with bespoke designs for Honda’s CB500F and SH125i scooter, as well as Piaggio’s Beverly 125 and 350 Sport Touring models.

The screens have been designed to use the fixing points of the manufacturer’s factory screens and blend in with the bike’s original lines. Prices start at £58.80, rising to £112.40 for the CB500F screen, with versions for further bikes on the horizon.

The ICE screens are available to order from GIVI around the UK.
