Honda has announced plans for a series of new events named ‘Honda TT Revolution.’ The events will run at the Isle of Man TT festival, with renowned DJ Carl Cox and Danny Howard headlining the opening and closing events.
Honda TT Revolution will kick off with BBC Radio One’s Danny Howard on Friday, May 30 just before the Superbike TT, which will take place the following day. DJ Carl Cox, who admits that he’s a huge bike enthusiast, will end the racing week with a huge party, Motorcycle News reported.
Carl Cox supports a sidecar race team from New Zealand that hopes to compete at the TT in the future. Cox said that he is massively excited to be involved in the TT Revolution event, adding that the Isle of Man TT festival has been on his ‘to-do’ list for a very long time. Cox said that Honda’s event combines two of his greatest passions: music and motorcycles. The TT is much more than a bike race, it’s a showcase of extreme talent that can take your breath away whether you’re a fan or not, he commented.
The TT Revolution’s opening and closing parties will take place at the Courthouse, Douglas, with online tickets going on sale on Monday, April 14. Tickets will be also available to purchase locally at the Courthouse. Tickets for the opening party cost £15, while closing party tickets cost £20.
