MCi Tours hosted their first ever biker wedding recently, as a happy couple tied the knot on Lake Lucerne near Zell in Switzerland.
“I’m delighted to host our first ever wedding, it certainly stopped traffic in Zell.” said MCi Tours Alastair McFarlane, who watched as the lovebirds rode their BMW K1300S to the lakeside, serenaded by a Highland piper. The bride modestly rode side saddle on the pillion of the BMW in a full wedding dress. After the service on the lake, the couple joined the rest of the MCi Tours party back at the hotel for their reception, with Harley rider Guitar Steve providing some celebratory tunes.
“It was a great highlight of the trip, and during the reception there were two more proposals – love was definitely in the air!” commented Alastair, whose MCi Tours company is providing the 2nd prize in the Carole Nash sponsored `Britain’s Got Biking Talent 2009′ bike-building and customising competition. The owner of the 2nd prize winning machine, as voted for by readers of insidebikes and MCN, and showcased at the NEC motorcycle show, will be off on a tour of the WWI battlefields in 2010.
