Iconic Italian brand MV Agusta is collaborating with bike-loving Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton to produce a limited run of 44 (his racing number) special F4s.
Based on the already super-exclusive F4 RC, a bike based on British racer Leon Camier’s world superbike machine, the Hamilton edition features a unique red colour scheme signed by the man himself, painted rims and Pirelli tyres with Formula One style red bands. Ohlins forks are black, rather than the usual gold, while the frame is white and the saddle is a hand stitched Alcantara item.
Each Hamilton edition comes with a factory race kit, albeit presented separately in a bespoke wooden box rather than fitted on the production line, and MV claim a mighty 212bhp in race mode, or a still mighty impressive 201bhp in street trim. With a single seat unit, titanium exhaust and details like the removal of mirrors, MV are claiming an 8kg weight reduction over the standard model, giving it a dry weight of 182kg.
This is not the first time the F1 star has collaborated with the iconic brand. Last year they developed the MV Agusta Brutale Dragster LH44, based on the 800cc naked model.
