The new Yamaha MT-10

Be excited, be very excited…

Yamaha are launching the MT-10 this June – the latest in the MT range to be released since it launched the originals back in 2013 – and in our view, we can’t see this particular machine being anything other than a roaring success.

At £10k a pop, on paper it beats the competition on value for money, offering just as many extras as the majority of bikes that venture way beyond the £10k mark.

In terms of sales, we predict the MT-10 to fire out of the showroom faster than you can say Valentino Rossi, thanks in part to the highly-acclaimed old 998cc R1 engine that’s being used to power it. Not only that, the bike’s naked aesthetic will be undoubtedly come as welcome news for any rider that’s looking to continue the growing trend for stripped-back rides.

Handling-wise, the bike’s lightweight frame and ultra-short wheelbase means that riders can chew up the corners like never before – all without compromising a natural riding position that so many manufacturers choose to ignore. All in all, this truly is a magnificent beast.
