Embrace the shock of the new and flock to the Newark Showground this weekend as biking’s newest show debuts on the Nottinghamshire town.
The Carole Nash Newark Bike Bonanza is set to make a dynamic debut as it celebrates both classic and modern motorcycling which sees, for example, Honda Samsung’s race truck competing for your attention with the Classic Racer Grand Prix Paddock.
Organisers Mortons have also lined up guest appearances by TT legends John McGuinness – fresh from his 2013 Senior victory – Conor Cummins and Gary Johnson whilst stunt supremo Steve Colley will be skilfully throwing his trials around twice daily, no doubt rather like this.
Nearly 30 clubs have also taken stands whilst extensive award categories spanning vintage classic, modern, off road and more, they’ll be plenty of biking eye candy to drool over. The meagre ticket price of just a tenner
Once again the Carole Nash team will be in attendance to advise and point you in the direction of the company’s Ultimate Biking Giveaway.** The latter is a free prize draw offering a bumper biking bounty worth up to £20k, all of which could be yours in return simply for getting a bike insurance quote.
There’s also added airborne attraction with both a Spitfire and Hurricane doing flypasts whilst the packed line-up includes after show entertainment on Saturday night with live music from local outfit No Limits.
Given the strength of the bill, tickets are remarkably good value with day entry on the gate just a tenner, weekenders £20. Kids’ tickets are a measly £3 ad £6 respectively.
* The Carole Nash Bike Bonanza runs from 9am – 6pm this Saturday 22nd June and 9am – 5pm on Sunday 23rd June. To view the show guide, including a timetable of events, click here (The guide runs from page 27).
