Sycamore, one of the bigger car and motorcycle franchise groups in the Midlands, have been appointed Ducati dealers.
The Sycamore group already has a successful Harley-Davidson franchise, as well as Alfa Romeo, Mini, Kia, Volvo and Mazda car dealerships. The new Ducati dealership will form around half of the total site space at the existing Harley store, located in Uppingham, Rutland. Rutland Water is a well known local biker hang out at weekends, so the new Ducatis should attract plenty of interest.
Sycamore Chairman Peter Hamblin commented; “We have been operating at Uppingham since the 1950s, so we are proud to work with Ducati, who share our values of excellent customer service.”
The new Sycamore Ducati shop has technicians trained at the Ducati factory in Italy, plus motorcycle hire facilities on site, as well new and used Ducati machines. There will also be a Ducati demo fleet available at Sycamore Ducati too, with riders aged 25 or over and subject to ID checks, invited to sample models like the 1098 Superbike, 848, Hypermotard, Sport Classic and Monster.
The new Sycamore Ducati shop will be open seven days a week and is located on the A47 near Uppingham.
