The Pirelli Malaysian round of 2015’s World Superbikes competition saw our riders line up on the Sepang International Circuit for another instalment in what has been a thrilling contest from the beginning.
At Carole Nash we’ve been proudly following the fortunes of our ambassador, Jonathan Rea, who we have also been sponsoring in this competition. With a massive amount of wins, including plenty of doubles, Rea is currently a whole 144 points ahead, with Kawasaki Racing Team teammate Tom Sykes holding steady in third place.
Rea stormed to another win in Race One, although it was close – just a split-second ahead of Aurba.it’s Chaz Davies, who is currently holding firm in second place overall for the season. Davies had Rea in his sights all weekend, battling hard for an even closer finish than in race one, pushing our man in to a rare second.
Aprilia Racing Team’s Leon Haslam, also a Carole Nash ambassador, scored seventh and sixth place finishes, keeping the pressure on and remaining comfortably in fourth place overall.

As we push towards the end of the season, it seems as though the championship spot could be a foregone conclusion. But with three races left to go, those final standings could still see a major shakeup. Next month sees a return to Spain, this time to the Circuito de Jerez – who will emerge victorious?
