What’s on at the Isle of Man TT 2018

Join more than 45,000 motorbike enthusiasts among the crowds for this year’s Isle of Man TT race in what looks set to be another year of high-octane action. Last year, the rivalry between Ian Hutchinson and Michael Dunlop only grew – and this time around it looks set to get even bigger. Hutchinson is now fourth – one place ahead of Dunlop – on the all-time race winner’s leader board.

But who will come out on top this spring?

Whoever it is, they’ll need nerves of steel – the average TT lap speed is 130mph as riders tear around the 37-mile circuit with an extraordinary combination of ferocity and control.

Where to watch from

Last year two new stands in Noble’s Park added to the viewing options for spectators heading to the Isle of Man TT. In 2018, those stands are back – and so are the old favourites of the main grandstand and the Hillberry grandstand, which offers an awesome view of the 140mph corner between Creg-ny-Baa and Signpost.

The Noble’s Park South grandstand is perfect for watching the race winners storm home, while the Noble’s Park North grandstand gives visitors a view of the starting point and the lead up to Bray Hill. If you want to get in the thick of the action, the Main Grandstand is the place to be. From there you can watch open-mouthed as riders storm through for the start of their next lap or be left amazed by the lightening-quick reactions of the pit crews nearby.
