What’s on at the Isle of Man TT 2016?

Will you be joining the thousands of fans flying into the Isle of Man for the greatest road racing event in the world? For two weeks every year, almost forty miles of the island’s roads roar with the cream of the world’s bikes and their riders. An amazing spectacle, and as we’re big devotees of all things bike we’re hoping to be there mingling with the crowd.

The best spots to see the Isle of Man TT 2016

If you want the best views of the action, we can give you a few tips. The TT Grandstand in Douglas is obviously one the best places to be. It offers unrivalled views of the start/finish line and the 170mph-plus stretch as the racers blast past. You also get clear views of the pit lane, and the podium where the winners receive their trophies, laurels and champagne. But there are lots of great vantage points all round the course – with special fan zones at some of the course’s most iconic spots, including the Mountain Road.

Take a wander behind the grandstand and you’ll find shops and stalls selling all kinds of TT and other motorcycle-related merchandise - including clothing, pictures, DVDs and much more. How can you go home without a souvenir of this legendary event?

Go to the Isle of Man TT 2016, but keep your wheels on the road!

It’s the race, though, that bring the crowds to this world famous event. They’re the ultimate test of skill, bravery and determination – with riders reaching speeds of up to 200mph. So to put it mildly, it’s not without risk. Talking of which, are your own wheels as well covered as you want them to be?
