What’s on at the 37th Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show?

You can search all over the world, but we’re not sure you’ll find a bigger collection of classic bike enthusiasts than you will at this year’s 37th Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show.

From hundreds of trade stands and autojumble plots through to club stands, the Wheel of Death and a guest appearance from three-time World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss, you certainly won’t run out of things to do and see.

The world’s biggest autojumble

Whether it’s a bike, part, spare or accessory, you’ve got a great chance of finding what you need at the 37th Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show. There are trade stands galore across five bustling halls, and autojumble stalls bursting at the seams once you head outside.

The Staffordshire County Showground will also be packed with bike displays from both individuals and some of the most well-known clubs in the country. And if the weather’s good, the classic bike cavalcade in the showground’s main ring is the perfect opportunity to catch a close-up glimpse of some of these all-time classic bikes.

Back inside, why not listen to the thoughts of World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss? The Aussie hero will be interviewed on stage and be available for autographs and selfies – so get your cameras and notepads ready!

Thrills aplenty in Bonhams auction

If you’re looking for a real adrenalin surge, then head over to the Wheel of Death and take in some truly jaw-dropping action. Watch the riders get to the top of the wall – where they’re easily within touching distance of the audience – and take in the noise, speed and smell of this world-famous experience. You’ll never forget it!

There’ll also be plenty of jangling nerves when Carole Nash partner Bonhams host their auction, with more than 230 bikes up for sale. Machines up for grabs include a 1939 Vincent-HRD 998cc Rapide Series-A Project, with an estimated final sale price of £150,000 to £200,000, and the Velocette works special used by Freddie Frith in 1949 to win the 350cc class of the FIM World Championship, in the competition’s debut year (owned by Carole Nash’s first ever policyholder, Ivan Rhodes).

Velocettes with important race history rarely come to market, let alone ultra-rare works specials such as this one, so this World Championship, IoM TT and Grand Prix-winning KTT, ridden by one of the sport’s first Word Champions, represents an opportunity of enormous significance for collectors.

As proud show sponsors, Carole Nash wishes sellers and bidders the best of luck!
