One of Europe’s largest motorcycling events.

This year’s BMF Peterborough Motorcycle Show will take place at the Peterborough Arena on 16-18 May. The show, which has been running for over 37 years, marks the start of the motorcycle season and attracts thousands of visitors each year.

The BMF Show is one of Europe’s largest motorcycling events, and this year there will be even more biking delights added to the weekend schedule.

The Classic & Vintage area will feature a new Fire-it-Up zone, allowing visitors to both see and hear machines from yesteryear. The line-up of classics will include the cars and bikes formerly ridden by motorsport legend Mike ‘The Bike’ Hailwood, and they will be presented to crowds by Mike’s son, Dave.

Over at the Adventure and Overland Touring area, visitors will be treated to a huge range of trade stands that will be selling specific adventure travel and touring gear. Several of the stands will be occupied by tour operators, giving you the chance to book-up an adventure of a lifetime. A new addition to this area is The Presentation Zone, where guests can catch experienced writers and travelers talking about their adventures and giving advice and tips on touring.

There’ll be plenty going on during the daytime, including stunt shows, the BMF’s Moped Mayhem, Moto Gymkhana, the Best in Show awards and the ACU 1000cc Sidecar Championships. And, as usual, there will be loads of exhibitors selling motorcycling gear, as well as club stands and an autojumble. Those camping at the show will be treated to some great evening entertainment in the form of live music from a whole host of different bands.

It is expected that this year’s show will attract up to 45,000 visitors. Parking is free at the event, and kids under 16 go free if accompanied by a paying adult. For tickets or more information, visit the BMF’s official website.
