Throttles ready for the Carole Nash Kells Road Races 2015
If you’re looking for your next biking event, the Carole Nash Kells Road Races 2015 is just around the corner. It’s taking place on the weekend of June 20 and 21, and we’re the title sponsors for the second year in a row.
It’s a great day out for all the family, with competitors travelling from all over UK and Ireland to tackle the Crossakiel circuit in County Meath.
The event is held annually, and with no shortage of places to stay in the local area, there’s every excuse to make a weekend of it!
What to expect from the Carole Nash Kells Road Races 2015
The event kicks off with the Charity Classic Run on Friday June 19, where funds will be raised for Down’s Syndrome Ireland. If you’re interested in taking, make your way down to Kells for registration on the day at 6:30pm.
Saturday June 20 is when the practice run gets underway for all classes. It starts at 1pm and will be followed by two classic races.
The main race day is on Sunday June 21, and the action kicks off at 11:15am. The Carole Nash Grand Final has attracted some big names over the years, including the likes of Guy Martin, Richard Britton and John Donnan.
Riders will tackle the 2.2-mile circuit, and the good news is there are plenty of great vantage points for you to cheer them along. It’ll cost you €10 to spectate and we recommend getting there early to secure a good spot!
